Description of the Myrrh-Commiphora molmol:
Paradoxically, myrrh is very little known in the West ... but she is famous! She was one of three gifts the Magi brought to the manger at the birth of Jesus. In the Middle East, it is used for millennia to clean wounds and prevent infections, relieve rheumatic pains and to treat various problems of the mouth and throat as ulcers, gingivitis and pharyngitis.
Today, in Occident, myrrh is incorporated into various medicinal preparations for treating inflammation the mouth and throat. Many toothpastes sold in health food stores contain, and in Europe, you can find dental powders containing 10% of myrrh.
Myrrh is a resin produced by the bark of a tree called myrrh tree or, sometimes, balsam.

externally : Treat the irritation and inflammation of mucous mouth and throat. Treat irritations, chapping and minor skin wounds. Assist in medical treatment of pharyngitis and tonsillitis.
